I’m a thirty-seven-year old writer, walker, girl geek, gamer, lust-monger and traveler. On the road, I take one suitcase, my darling MacBook, my Canon digital, a stainless steel cup for my coffee, my passport and a bad-ass attitude. I cry if I don’t have the Internet. I can fit in anywhere. When I want to. I only started traveling in the last five years, but in that time, I’ve been all over the U.S., and in nearly a dozen countries.
This is the story of a girl, a world and 365 days on the road, in the air, across the sea, through the Internet, and via other modes of travel that haven’t been invented yet. So, pack your suitcase (or hide in mine) and come along. I don’t pick up hitchhikers, but I always stop for friends.
Shanna, that pic of you on the bed is awesome. I love it. I am enjoying hearing about your travels as well.

Shanna, what a lovely photo!
I love dropping in to read about your travels. No matter what words you choose, there is something so poetic about what you say – something like the perfect combination of satisfaction and longing – that always takes my breath away.
Cheers,
Shannon

Thanks so much, Shannon! That means a ton to me. Wow, I’m honored and delighted. It makes the time and energy so very worth it!
